Screen design has evolved. The way designers work, the tools they use, and the screens for which they design all have changed rapidly. Designers are struggling to express interactivity and flow with static screens and mockups. The increasing competition for users attention adds to these challenges. Jonathan Pimento, a product manager for Adobe XD, shares what he has learned from designers about these hurdles and how the team building Adobe XD are addressing these needs so that designers can solve modern challenges.
Jonathan will present an overview on designing, prototyping, and sharing in the award-winning Adobe XD app, as well as top features and time-saving tips and tricks.
Speed kills; procrastination and deadlines conflict with every designer’s desire to deliver a unique solution. In this revealing talk, Talin describes how during his journey as a designer he faced his fears and began to generate his ideas at the speed of thought. He will share examples of how rapid design led him to solutions he might not have even considered. Talin’s session is a story of growing in your career and trusting in your intuition as a designer.
Go behind the scenes of making Adobe Experience Design CC (Beta) with one of its earliest creators, Senior Product Manager Tom Krcha. Tom will share the product principles that serve as the foundation for Adobe XD and how they guide the team’s thinking for the near term and the future.
In the past year, 45 percent of people say they have paid more for a product or service that had a good design. But now, more than ever, users are evaluating not just the product design, but also the experience of buying and using that product. What’s next? How will design evolve to address these trends? Eric Snowden, Senior Director of Design at Adobe, provides a glimpse into:
- Adobe’s method of designing for designers
- How he and his team plan for the next generation of design and designers
