Holy Crop, It’s Editorial and Layout Design Week!
This week, we celebrate the art of editorial and layout design. At its core, layout design is the arrangement of visual elements on a page. From books to magazines, the use of type, the placement of graphics, and positioning of empty space all come together to tell a story or communicate a message. We’re excited to highlight the latest in the field of editorial design this week for InDesign CC.
Learn from experts, tune into Adobe Live
We’ve invited designers from across the country so they can share their insights, tips, and tricks in editorial design. Tune into our 3-day Adobe Live event this week from June 26-28 to learn from these fantastic designers on Behance.
Rachel Roth, 9:00-11:00 a.m. PT
Rachel Roth is a designer and art director. She’ll show you how she turns her 365-day journal into a super typographic zine! She will explore color, hierarchy, and typography to quickly display information in a fun, lighthearted way.
Stefanie Brückler, 11:00-1:00 a.m. PT
Stefanie is known for combining photography, illustration, typography, and color to find beauty in unexpected places. Stefanie will create a 16-page zine celebrating “the beauty in the ugly.”
Lucas Albrecht, 1:00-3:00 p.m. PT
Graphic designer and art director Lucas Albrecht designs extensively with InDesign scripts and automation. For his Adobe Live session, he will use scripts to capture screenshots and annotations throughout the stream to auto-generate a document.
