Introducing the #withMalala Challenge
Over 60 million girls are out of school today because of poverty, war, discrimination and early marriage. In developing countries today, less than 20 percent of girls finish junior high school. The poorest girls, on average, receive only three years of schooling.
This is what drives 18-year-old student, humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai’s efforts to provide 12 years of free, quality and safe education to all girls worldwide.
This yearlong project culminates next year on October 11th, the International Day of the Girl. We invite you to submit your photography, film, video, graphics, spoken word, dance, drawing, or painting to help raise awareness about this important issue.
Check out the #withMalala Challenge today and help Malala creatively inspire millions with your voice worldwide.
